LS GreenLink USA broke ground on a $680 million submarine power cable plant in Chesapeake, Virginia, aiming to supply the growing U.S. HVDC subsea cable market. Backed by federal tax credits, the facility will open in 2027, creating over 330 jobs and supporting LS Cable & System’s global expansion.

FiberHome has launched its first European plant in Kisbér, Hungary, to locally produce optical cables. The €20M ZettaNet project, supported partly by the Hungarian state, aims to strengthen Chinese-Hungarian ties and enhance FiberHome’s European footprint with high-tech manufacturing and R&D.
