Three-dimensional FEM simulation of the influence of drawing in setting angle used in wiredrawing

$15.00

The characteristics of winding, effective in manufacturing fine wire coil with small diameter, bobbin rolls and so forth, were simulated with the drawing direction angle attached to the die entrance and exit. The optimum drawing in setting angle for manufacturing of fine wire coil was simulated by three-dimensional elasto-plastic Finite Element Method analysis. Various parameters such as drawing direction angle, residual stress and degree of work hardening that influenced the drawing in setting angle were examined, from which useful data was obtained.
