For continuous inline heat treatment of wire and strips of metals and alloys, there are several methods, which typically use the direct heating of the material by electrical current via material’s electrical resistance. This paper presents an overview on actual heating/annealing systems and highlights the latest developments for inductive annealing technologies. Annealing devices/principles and test results will be displayed in schematics and graphs.
