The increased demands placed on motor manufacturers for high-temperature, abrasion-resistant, corona-resistant and high-temperature bondable products have provided the impetus for improved magnet wire products. This paper will concentrate on products that provide increased abrasion resistance, a lower coefficient of friction, higher temperature materials, partial discharge resistant wire and improved high temperature bondable magnet wire constructions.
