Containers for hot lead and chemicals constructed of nickel clad steel are discussed; the corrosive action of lead, salt, cyanide, caustic baths, and hot furnace gases is reduced. The new Niclad pots are lighter than previously obtainable, and are less susceptible to recrystallization and cracking from constant reheating.
