Processes used in the production of Bethanized wire, an electrogalvanized wire produced by Bethlehem Steel Co, are described. Annealing, cleaning, and passage through anodic treatment cells and plating cells are among the techniques discussed. The method is compared with other galvanizing methods. Applications of Bethanized wire are considered.
