Extensive evaluation of the use of ditridecyl phthalate (DTDP) plasticizer in high-temperature vinyl insulation is reported. DTDP-plasticized vinyl meets U.L. heat aging standards for 90~ and 105~ wire; suitability for TW, THW, and 60~C oil resistant wires is also addressed.
