The Wire Association International produced the 2023 International Technical Conference on Nov. 13-14 at the Crowne Plaza in Monterrey, Mexico. The event attracted 208 participants that represented 70 different organizations. The two-day conference, which included 17 sessions, received strong reviews from all involved, especially for those representing the nonferrous and electrical sectors. The educational content extended into the Suppliers Market that included 33 companies and ran concurrently with sessions.

“The plant tour of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Viakable was the perfect jewel in the crown to what proved to be one of the most successful Technical Conferences WAI showcased thanks to the remarkable organization of the WAI Staff. The level of the technical presentation exceeded the expectations of the record +250 registered attendees.

The event was very well organized and provided very good value. The high quality educational content drew a wide representation of the wire and cable manufacturers and the format kept the group together. Niehoff looks forward to returning with the same successful formula.
