3-D FEM analysis of roller die and hydrodynamic drawing of high carbon steel wires

$15.00

This paper presents results of numerical simulations of processes of a roller die and a hydrodynamic drawing of high-carbon steel wire with newly developed FEM software. With this software digital values of temperature, strain, strain rate, and stress state can be found immediately in every point in a deformation zone in a steel drawing process. The program offers an opportunity to investigate the influence of a change of drawing direction.
