In the past, in transit damage was a mystery to me. I have been involved for many years in the packing of wire on spools and reels. The problem being that many palletizations that looked good prior to shipment, never made it consistently to the customer. In our industry, we ship by any possible means. A method of pre-shipment testing was needed.
