Description
A new method based on plasma technology combined with an innovative mechanical descaling system allows the removal of FexOy and FeO from the surface of steel wire. This technology performs an acid- and contact-free processing of the oxidized steel wire surface, activating the wire surface to the drawing operation. After the in-line cleaning, it will be possible to draw at the highest working speed using a specific lubricant and a special pressure die (without the need for chemical coating carriers after wire cleaning).
