A new galvanizing furnace is presented. The application of vertical tube heating for galvanizing kettles is discussed. The numbers and location of heating tubes in the walls of the furnace are a function of the capacity of the kettles. The use of core busters to increase efficiency is described, and the major advantages of this furnace are outlined.
