A new high strength microalloyed multi-phase steel: processing, microstructure and properties

$15.00

When high strengths are required in today’s cold formed components, heat treatable alloy steels are used. While these steels are capable of generating adequately high strengths in the final heat treated condition, they suffer from inadequate cold formability in the as-rolled condition. Hence, current high strength steels are not only very expensive to process, but are also relatively infexible in the way that they can be processed.
