The use of adhesive copolymer resins in the making of improved communications cables is described. Various methods of applying and using adhesive ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers are proposed and the advantages of using conventional adhesive coated aluminum tapes are given. The use of electrodeposition for applying the copolymers is described.
