Description
An innovative steel wire rod mechanical descaling and cleaning system combined with special types of drawing dies in tungsten carbide and new specific lubricants for the coating of the wire has been developed to obtain constant quality at the highest drawing speeds. This innovative descaling system, particularly appropriate for high carbon steels, allows containment of the stress within the elastic field in a strain-stress diagram and does not cause significant deformations of the wire rod.
