A process for treatment of wire milling lubricant coolant wastes

$15.00

A new process developed for the treatment of waste discharges consisting of fat/water emulsions and copper from a wire milling operation. The two stage process consists of the addition of polyelectrolyte emulsion breakers to demulsify the liquid and CaS addition to remove the dissolved copper and residual fat. This paper describes the use of the CaS process in the treatment of aqueous wastes from a wire milling operation.
