To understand better the development of double twist machines it seems useful to come back too its principles and primary relizations. The wires enter into a hollow half-shaft A and go around a pulley B. Plate D is mounted to A and carries another pulley C, along which the wires are guided towards pulley E on plate F. The last one is mounted to ahlf-shaft G.
