Addition of boron to high carbon wire rod

$15.00

In the last six to eight years, IHSW has successfully developed a series of low carbon grades containing boron additives to improve the physical properties and performance of wire rod. Boron additives in high carbons (0.80/0.85 C) lead to increased performance in physical properties such as drawability, reduced C-segregation, etc. Comparisons to standard high carbons are reported.
