The addition of computer control to the NBS smoke chamber is presented. It is assumed that the operation of NBS smoke chamber is understood, as well as the basis for conversion of percent light transmission to optical density. In short, an analogue to digital interface to the output of the photometer circuit and a computer to accumulate data and computer parameters improves data collection and conversion.
