This paper presents the theory of ultra-filtration of alkaline cleaners and the design considerations in sizing an ultra-filtration system. Examples of direct economic benefits derived from recycling cleaners, such as savings in cleaner usage and lower cleaner disposal costs, are presented along with payback analyses.
