Analysis of metal flow during flattening of round wires in cold rolling process

$15.00

An analysis is given of the effect of roll diameter (100, 160 and 210 mm) and the constant pass reduction (15 and 30 percent) on the wire spread during flattening of the wires. Wires in the 2-7 mm diameter range, manufactured from low and high carbon steels, have been used for the cold rolling process without lubrication.
