Auger electron spectroscopy applied to a tribological model for wiredrawing

$15.00

Surface analysis has been employed to interpret the results of a tribological model of drawing brass-plated steel wire developed on a friction and wear tester. Comparison of the results with sliding friction measurements has produced a new understanding of the formation of concentration gradients in the wire.
