Bar and wire with ultra-smoothing and lower residual stress by new drawing

$15.00

In order to produce ultra-smoothing bars and lower residual stress through drawing without additional processes, a new die was developed and evaluated. This protrusion die induces high-contact pressure and shearing strain at the surface of drawn bar. As a result, ultra-surface roughness and lower residual stress were achieved by the new die design.
