The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the complete CO2 welding wire process from its onset to examining how new phases of the production cycle have been expanded into the welding wiredrawing plants, namely: preparation of the steel rod; initial drawing phase; intermediate drawing with in-line copper coating; and independent re-spooling.
