Cold rolling of small diameter steel wires

$15.00

The scope of this paper is to analyze technological and operational aspects of cold rolling technology using sets of rolls of the oval-rounded sequence type. At the current state-of-the-art this technology can be easily applied to most conventional drawing machines that produce steel wire within 1.6 to 4 mm. In order to make the present evaluation, it is necessary to make comparisons with conventional dry die drawing technology.
