Over the past 25 to 30 years, companies have developed volumetric and, most recently, gravimetric feeding equipment to improve the extrusion process. This paper will expand on the full range of feeding and metering capabilities that are available in today’s market. The unique possibilities offered will demonstrate ways to reduce usage levels by eliminating waste through increased accuracy and material control.
