Computerized straightening

$15.00

This paper presents the concept of computerized straightening which is aimed at automated process control for wire straightening. Through the variation of process parameters, a process simulator working off-line determines the process data and target value relationships which can be used to influence the quality of a product in defined manner. These correlations are then used by a process computing model for on-line calculation of the necessary roller adjustment during the in-process scanning of the current process.
