Controlling the fiber excess length and the post shrinkage in PBT central tube process

$15.00

In this study the goal was to develop a central tube buffering process with minimized post shrinkage while having the ability to control the fiber excess length from negative to a very high positive values. This paper focuses on aspects of post shrinkage which is hindered by the right spooling onto a bobbin after the buffering process and by the tight stranded construction in further process steps.
