Oxygen free and oxygen bearing coppers, and the use of stranded constructions for space age conductor applications, are discussed. Concentric, unilay, and bunch configurations of the stranded wires are described, tested and the results given. Conductor platings discussed are tin, silver, nickel, silver-nickel and gold.
