The use of copper-titanium (Cu-Ti) alloy for spring manufacture is discussed. Electric conductivity, tensile strength, elongation, hardness, modulus of elasticity, and elastic limit for Cu-Ti and several other ferrous and nonferrous alloys are compared. The heat treatment and cold working of Cu-Ti alloy are described.
