CR-155: a new high-conductivity, high-strength copper for the wire industry

$15.00

The precipitation hardening CR-155 copper alloy (0.10% Mg; 0.06% P; 0.04% Ag; balance copper) is discussed. The effects of heat treatment, cold-reductions, temper-annealing, and anneal temperature on mechanical and electrical properties are presented in tabular and graphic form. CR-155 exhibits good room temperature mechanical properties. In the cold-worked condition the alloy has high electrical conductivity and good heat resistance.
