Cross-linking of ethylene vinyl silane copolymers

$15.00

Ethylene silane copolymer was used to study cross-linking reactions in the presence of moisture and catalyst. Controlled diffusion of water coupled with micro FTIR profiling technique led to an estimate of diffusion of water and/or cross-linking. The gel content was measured as a function of diffusion depth for water. The profile of the spectral variation and gel followed the classical diffusion equation to a first order approximation.
