Determination of hot sizing conditions for bar rolling to suppress the grain coarsening phenomenon

$15.00

An investigation was carried out on the grain coarsening behavior of a medium carbon steel. It was found that when the metal working condition falls within a band in the temperature-strain domain, coarse grain appears. The hot sizing condition was then determined to verify the validity on hot bar rolling.
