Development of a carbon black filled moisture crosslinkable low voltage insulation compound based on ethylene vinylsilane (EVS) copolymer

$15.00

A filled moisture crosslinkable compound has been developed, based on a unique ethylene vinylsilane (EVS) copolymer which resists scorch associated with heavy filler loadings. The physical and electrical properties of finished crosslinked insulation are discussed. Processibility is addressed, including both scorch resistance during extrusion and crosslinking during the cure step.
