Development of a new wire rod mill “Bevel Roll Mill”

$15.00

This paper describes the new wire rod mill named the “Bevel Roll Mill” being developing. Using conical surface rolls, the mill was constructed with horizontal stands only, which led to a simple mechanism and the ability to roll with multiple passlines. A test mill is now working for copper alloy wire production, and we will apply this rolling system to stainless steels and alumimum alloys, etc.
