Development of magnesium alloy fine wire by cold drawing and fabrication of microscrew

$15.00

A technique for obtaining the magnesium alloy AZ31, AZ61 fine wire by cold drawing is examined to obtain wires with high strength quality and surface morphology, while decreasing production cost. In addition, using the drawn fine wire, microscrews with M1.7 and M1.0 were fabricated by heading and form rolling processes. From this study, it is clarified that the cold drawing of magnesium alloy wire and the fabrication of microscrews are possible.
