Digital high-speed FFT analysis at high-bandwidth cable and advantages of the use of FFT in other extrusion processes

$15.00

The implementation of an FFT analysis at the production of foam-insulated high-frequency cables (CATV cables) becomes more important due to increasing quality requirements. This paper describes new developments and the resultant advantages in the production of foam cables through a unique FFT analysis available in combination with capacitance gauges. It also discusses how the extrusion process in the production of other cable types, such as automotive, low-, medium- and high-voltage cables, can be influenced by using FFT data.
