The problem of disposal of pickling liquors is discussed, and it is pointed out that each plant must be treated as an individual case. Some methods for converting strong liquors to usable products are mentioned, but none are considered to be economically feasible. Methods currently in use for the treatment of liquors in batches and for continuous treatment are considered, and the Dorr Clariflocculator is illustrated.
