Drawability of copper fire refining in a multiwire at high speed

$15.00

In recent years, a broad investment program has given La Farga experience in the technology of drawing FHRC rod and ETP standard rod. Nowadays a large quantity of FRHC copper rod is drawn to 0.25 mm to produce cables from 1.5 mm2 with a very low ratio of breaks per ton of multiwire. All these cables have a very good relative electrical resistivity and weight by length (densoresistivity). A technical comparison of productivity and product quality between both types of copper (Cu-ETP and Cu-FRHC) will be presented in this paper.
