Drawing Research with a High Speed Single Die Block

$15.00

A high speed single-die research block can simulate industrial high speed drawing much closer than the more conventional low speed research block. More-over, the high speed single-die block is more compact and better suited to instrumentation and process parameter manipulation than multi-die high speed machines. This paper discusses the advantages of the high speed block, broaches equipment considerations, and addresses practical problems. The measurement methods used to evaluate the high speed drawing process will be described, and some representative copper drawing data will be discussed.
