Description
It has been found that wires drawn in roller dies have revealed the smallest value of residual stresses and the smoothest surface as compared with those characteristics for wires drawn conventionally and hydrodynamically. A degree of alignment of cementite lamellae to wire axis in wires drawn in roller die is smaller than in wires drawn conventionally and hydrodynamically but the degree of fragmentation of cementite lamellae is slightly smaller than in conventionally drawn wires and larger than in wires drawn hydrodynamically.
