Effects of microstructure on the galvanizing characteristics of steel

$15.00

Galvanizing tests were carried out to determine the effects of varying amounts of cold deformation, varying grain size, quenching, and carburizing on appearance and coating weight. The forty steel samples tested were galvanized simultaneously by the hot dip method prior to testing. Results are reported in tabular form, and photomicrographs are presented.
