Effects of patenting conditions of cord-wire on central burst during drawing process

$15.00

‘Central-burst’ of cord-wire during drawing process was a serious problem. Therefore, we carried out a testing program in order to clarify the effect of patenting conditions on ‘central-burst’ when drawing conditions are fixed. Patenting conditions, including the solution conditions, were tested by varying both the heating temperature and holding time. The result showed that during heating a perfect solution of carbide was necessary.
