This paper presents an epoxy powder that can be used to electrostatically coat copper and aluminum rectangular wires for liquid transformer applications. Powder properties have been defined useing certain tests and limits established that assure the powder performance in the electrostatic cloud coater can be reproduced. Quality assurance tests and coating material is discussed.
