Emersion tube heating-lower galvanizing costs with higher thermal efficiency

$15.00

Analysis of existing systems has led to the development of a new burner system, with the aim of combining in one the advantages of the steel container and those of the ceramic container for a galvanizing bath. The new method, the ceramic immersed burner system, is a recuperator burner fitted with a ceramic immersion tube that forms a closed system in which the hot gases produced by the burner circulate. The paper discusses the resulting temperature distribution and heat transmission properties.
