Enhanced electromagnetic monitoring system for quality improvement of copper rod

$15.00

This paper presents a methodology to maximize acquiring manufacturing and quality data using the statistical characteristics of the eddy current scores. Using an enhanced setting for the eddy defect detection system, it is possible to detect process parameter anomalies that were not noticeable otherwise. As examples of this enhanced detection system, the influence of molten metal temperature and oxygen content of the molten copper can be directly observed and measured.
