In the facility the objective was to reduce the liability that the facility was exposed to for disposing of a hazardous waste by an environmental acceptable method. Several technologies were investigated to accomplish their goal along with plant visits and samples run to evaluate feasibility. Comparisons were made between current practices: evaporation, solidification, physical chemical treatment and filtration.
