Description
For the wiredrawing and metalworking industry, the 1990s will be the decade of the environment. A firm’s success in the next decade will be governed by how well a company can compete in the regulatory arena and how a company will comply with a myriad of new federal as well as new State and local regulations. This paper will overview current environmental issues and issues relating to worker health and safety. The impact of these issues upon the wiredrawing industry will be outlined and a model for control and compliance with environmental, heatlh and safety issues will be developed.
