Tests on cathode pickling are presented. The constant rate, single bend test for brittleness was applied to both mild steel and stainless steel after cathode pickling using various inhibitors. Eleven of the fifteen inhibitors tested increased embrittlement of both steels. Data are compared with results obtained from acid pickling tests. Third of three parts.
