Exploitation features of stream descaling of steel wire rods

This work presents the results of the stream method of descaling steel wire rods implemented in 1994 by Poland’s Drumet. Production on 12 wiredrawing lines has shown this method to be a highly economical, durable and environmentally sound process. The presentation will include information on the resulting wire surface quality.
